4/14/07 KO 8 JORGE SOLIS (Manny heated up in round six after getting cut over his left eye from an accidental clash of heads. Pac landed just 25% of his power shots over first five rounds- due to the awkward and not-busy (49 total punches thrown per round) style of Solis, 30-0-2. Pac Man landed 48% of his power shots in rounds six, seven and eight, including 51% in sixth (27 of 53). Solis was down twice in 8th, the second time for the count.)
11/18/06 KO 3 ERIK MORALES (blew away “El Terrible” in rubber match. Closed show by landing 51 of 71 power shots (72%) in third round. Outlanded Morales 73-25 in power shots in rounds two and three combined.)
7/2/06 W 12 OSCAR LARIOS (triumphant return to Philippines vs. former 122-lb. champ Larios successful- in same arena where 31 years earlier Muhammad Ali ko’d Joe Frazier in The Thrilla in Manilla. Larios held his own in early rounds, rocking Pac Man several times in 3rd. Late in 3rd a Pac right hook opened up Larios’ left eye and the beat down was on. The game Larios was down in 7th & 12th. Scoring: 117-110; 118-108; 120-106.)
1/21/06 KO 10 ERIK MORALES (Pac Man sought revenge from decision loss to El Terrible 10 months earlier. Morales 6-5 favorite. First five rounds replay of first fight, as Morales controlled fight with jab and had a 107-84 edge in total connects. Morales up by a point on 2 judges cards thru 5 and ahead by 3 points on third card. Pac Man did invest in the body early and that attack began paying
dividends in the sixth, as Manny outlanded Morales 32-8 in power shots. The route was on. Morales, unable to hold off Pacquiao any longer, landed just 20 jabs over the last 4 rounds. He was down in the 9th, before the end came at 2:33 of the 10th after Manny had a 18-5 edge in power connects in 10th and a 103-45 edge in power connects after 5th round. Morales was stopped for the first time in his 52-fight, nearly 14-yr. career. )

3/19/05 L 12 ERIK MORALES (pick’em fight, controlled by naturally bigger man Morales, who landed 265 of 714 (37%) total punches (60 per round) to 217 of 894 (24%-75 per round) for Pac Man. Morales showed his versatility, outjabbing the southpaw 96-34, averaging 25 per round to 29 per round for Pac, who landed just 10%. Morales also landed 41% of his power shots (169 of 411) to 183 of 545 (34%) for Pac, who was cut badly over right eye in 5th round. Morales outlanded Pac 120-82 in rounds 4 thru 8, winning 4 of those 5 frames on all cards. Morales, wanting to add some “flavor” to his performance, even turned southpaw in round 12 and landed 25 of 69 total punches. Pac had his best round in the 12th, landing 31 of 99 total punches, including 25 of 62 power shots. Too little too late, as the scorecards read 115-113 Morales across the board.)

5/8/04 D 12 JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ (dropped Marquez three times in 1st round. Judges Jutras (115-110 M) and John Stewart (115-110 P) scored that round 10-6. Other Burt Clements (113-113) scored it 10-7, unaware he could have went 10-6. It cost Pacquiao a majority decision win. Pac Man avg’d 75 punches in rounds 1 & 2-then fought at a more Marquez-like pace of 40 per round over next 10 rounds-a credit to Marquez. Jutras, who scored 115-110 Marquez, gave Marquez the second round despite landing just 8 of 45 total punches to 18 of 77 for Pacquiao. Overall Pac Man went 148 of 639 (23%) to 158 of 547 (29%) for Marquez, who had a 122-100 edge in power connects, throwing 339 to Pac’s 231.)
